Description: These are the minutes of the 21st session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD) in Moscow 1987. The document lists the participants, questions discussed, and decisions taken. Topics include the state and development of NATO's armed forces and infrastructure and planning of the WP United Armed Forces for the period from 1991 to 1995. The CMD warns that attempts by NATO to replace disarmed nuclear weapons with new ones will interrupt the disarmament process. Annexed is a communiqué summarizing the proceedings of the CMD meeting.
