Letter from General Marin Nicolescu, Deputy Minister of the Armed Forces, to Deputy Foreign Minister Vasile Gliga

Description: In this letter, the deputy minister of the Romanian Armed Forces, Marin Nicolescu, informs Deputy Foreign Minister Vasile Gliga about his two meetings with Lieutenant General A. A. Dementiev, representative of the supreme commander of the United Armed Forces (UAF). Nicolescu and Dementiev discussed the provisions in the draft document regarding the juridical capacity, the privileges, and the immunities of the general staff and of other leadership organs of the UAF. Nicolescu points out the issues that have been clarified during these discussions and refers to specific formulations of some of the convention's articles that did not satisfy the Romanian side.
