East German Statement (Western Propaganda Directed against the WP Armies)

Description: This East German statement addresses Western propaganda directed against the armies of the Warsaw Pact (WP). It refers to the third issue on the agenda of the 16th session of the WP's Committee of Ministers of Defense in Sofia in 1983. The document comments on the propaganda activities of US intelligence services and other Western propaganda methods. The statement also lists counter-propaganda measures undertaken by the East German National People's Army as well as domestic and foreign intelligence activities.
