Report on the Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers

29 Nov 1986
Description: This is a report on the results of the Moscow meeting of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) deputy foreign ministers in November 1986. The report's main topics are the assessment of a summit of the non-aligned countries in Harare, options for the WP members to continue their cooperation with the non-aligned countries, and immediate tasks for the future. The delagates believe that the non-aligned states support several of the Soviet and WP positions. Most deputy foreign ministers regard this as a chance to deepen their relations with the non-aligned countries.
