Description: This note of discussions refers to a meeting between the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party, Nicolae Ceauşescu, and the supreme commander of the Unified Armed Forces (UAF), Marshal Ivan Iakubovskii. The main topic is the idea of creating a military council composed of the ministers of defense of the Warsaw Pact countries, the supreme commander, and the chief of staff of the UAF, with the staff of the UAF Command serving as a working organ.
