Command of the Commander of the Southern Army Group to Conduct the War Game

Description: In this document, the commander of the Warsaw Pact's Southern Army Group, General K. I. Provalov, provides a background briefing on the situation on 21 June 1965, the day the war game is to commence, as well as reconnaissance data on the "Western" armed forces. He states that the strengths and locations of the military supply service units and institutions, their holding capacities, and the capacity of and load on military hospitals correspond to reality.
